stock photography, boredom, and flowers.

All of the “commercial” photographs are modeled after a stock or commercial-use aesthetic. These were taken on a whim of inspiration (that would typically arise during the middle of the night) with props and backdrops found around my room.

All of the photos were shot on my desk with lighting from flashlights I found lying around the house. The backdrops were either pillow sheets or bed sheets stolen from my brother’s closet.

My favorite part about these photos is though they may not look “artistic,”… they required creativity and innovation to make them. With every shoot, creating the set and situating the props become easier and easier.
