An iPhone was always within reach as I was growing up. It made it easy to “point and shoot” then immediately edit. Every photo in this collection was taken on an iPhone and edited in VSCO.
There’s a preconceived mindset about iPhone photography… some photographers hate it. They think it ruins the industry. Some photographers only shoot on iPhone. Some photographers don’t think it counts as photography. Even if it doesn’t “count” and you aren’t a “photographer” if you only shoot on a phone, it was a crucial part of my path. It was the only way for me to capture.
Nowadays, there’s very little that I shoot on my phone, but iPhone photography will always have a special place in my heart.
