About

Kaitlyn has been involved with photography since she was a toddler but only recently enlightened the idea of pursuing it professionally. Her start in photography was inspired by her dad, who always had a camera on him. Many of her first memories shooting a camera were when her dad handed off his Canon 7D to her. Every time he would say “be careful, don’t drop it” while placing the camera strap (which would be too long… at least for a few more years…) over her head.

A majority of her photography adventures were shot on an iPhone. She later moved to DSLR cameras…then back to her iPhone… then to film. She currently uses both film and mirrorless cameras on her shoots. She doesn’t concentrate on one type of photography. 

Kaitlyn is now pursuing a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. She is grateful she can do what she loves everyday.
